This dress coat is a remake of “Maifan,” a colored tomesode (formal kimono) by Juko-ori, created by the world-renowned designer Kansai Yamamoto.
Juko-ori is a textile characterized by patterns woven and drawn with gold and colorful threads.
The unique luxury and pattern of Juko-ori enhances the splendor and class of the dress coat.
Also, the graceful “dancing fan” pattern spreading to the hem creates elegance with every movement.
The traditional pattern is infused with new life and adds a special flair to everyday life.
The design on the back incorporates the “crest” of the kimono as it is, creating a point of reference that evokes a sense of traditional dignity.
Making the most of the kimono fabric, the front is lined with the yakkake portion to protect the embroidery, preserving the traditional technique and beauty down to the smallest detail.

After wearing, dry in the shade in a well-ventilated place. Kimonos that may shrink or fade in colour are not subjected to the process of 'passing through water' (soaking in water to remove surface dirt). Please note that silk products have low light fastness, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or fluorescent light may cause the colours to fade. Avoid washing at home and always take the garment to a dry cleaner.
