A dress coat remade from a navy blue furisode adorned with elegant motifs of Gosho-guruma, temari, and Tsujigahana.

A once-beloved furisode has been given new life, reborn as a one-of-a-kind dress coat.

The Gosho-guruma (imperial carriage) and temari (handcrafted silk thread balls), symbols of noble culture, lend an air of refinement and opulence.

"Gosho-gaki" refers to a pictorial pattern inspired by aristocratic culture, depicting the daily lives of the nobility through landscapes and objects.

This design features a graceful Gosho-guruma, a traditional carriage used by the nobility, evoking the elegance of the imperial court. The lavishly decorated carriage, combined with the flowing composition of Tsujigahana, creates an air of sophistication and grace.

To fully showcase the beauty of these exquisite patterns, meticulous attention has been paid to pattern alignment. The designs are not only beautifully displayed on the front panels but also carefully arranged on the back, ensuring a harmonious and balanced composition.

Every detail has been carefully considered so that this coat is breathtaking from every angle, with seamless connections between the patterns, preserving the elegance of the original furisode.

This transformation into a dress coat enhances the grace of the kimono, making it a truly special piece.

Designed to be worn lightly as a coat, it also features a ribbon belt that allows for waist definition, offering versatility to suit different styles.

By blending traditional Japanese artistry with modern fashion, this piece allows you to appreciate the beauty of tradition in an everyday setting.

Once worn only on special occasions like the Coming-of-Age ceremony, the furisode has been reborn as a dress coat that can be cherished and worn for many years to come.

Enjoy the perfect harmony of Japanese tradition and Western elegance with this truly unique piece.

----Care----

After wearing, dry in the shade in a well-ventilated place. Kimonos that may shrink or fade in colour are not subjected to the process of 'passing through water' (soaking in water to remove surface dirt). Please note that silk products have low light fastness, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or fluorescent light may cause the colours to fade. Avoid washing at home and always take the garment to a dry cleaner.
